About Me

I love helping each person's story emerge. As a writer for national inspirational magazines, a major metropolitan newspaper and through teaching classes, workshops and speaking at writer's conferences, I have helped scores of women and men write their stories in whatever form they desire.

My writing began with scribbles before I was old enough to know the alphabet. Then, for years, I wrote in my head, too afraid to expose my thoughts on paper. Now, my published work runs the gamut from inspirational to advertising, literary poetry to humorous essays, and everything in between and around the edges.

Intrigued by the mysteries of the creative process, I studied everything I could find about it. Eventually I developed a simple system by which anyone can produce fresh, compelling and polished writing. That means you can too, and I would love to help you.
